Step 3.
MEDIUM :
Now that you have your photos, you can choose which photo/s you would like the painting to be based on and decide whether you want an oil painting or pastel. If oils, you will also need to decide if you want a regular depth (3/4" deep) or 1.5" deep canvas. Consider: the regular depth is cheaper to frame but both sizes will be painted black on all sides, so it will look fine without a frame, if you prefer.

The following prices are for one pet with the background of your choice. Each extra pet is an additional $50.00. Custom sizes are available on request.

50% DOWNPAYMENT for Pastels

I will email you after I receive your order, to confirm it and ask any questions that I may have before beginning on your pets portrait. You do not have to pay in full when you order your portrait. a 50% nonrefundable deposit

is required when I accept your commission and to secure a place on the waiting list. This also pays for my time to do the preparation work to begin your painting.

Let me know if you have specific date for completion and I will try to accommodate. If not, the turnaround time depends on how many commissions I have and I generally have a waiting list of 2 to 4 weeks.

On Completion:

When the painting is completed, I will send you a digital copy by email for your approval. This will give you the opportunity to accept the painting or suggest changes. If all is well, you will send the balance and I will ship the (well packaged) painting to you, priority mail in U.S.A., first class for international shipping. Shipping charges will be additional.

**Gift certificates are also available. If you would like to give a portrait as a gift but do not have a photo of the animal, a gift certificate can make a great present too. JUST ASK!
